Provide the cutting workpiece documents
Send the workpiece drawings and project material requirements with the plasma cutting equipment enquiry. Identify the cut features your purchaser wants reviewed and attach the acceptance description that your responsible specialist will use when assessing a proposed cutting sample.
Describe the location and the access around the workpiece. Ask the supplier which additional drawing information is needed to propose equipment, and keep any changed workpiece requirement visible as a revision rather than substituting it silently in the enquiry.
Identify the torch and consumable package
Request the torch assembly designation and its accessory schedule for the proposed cutting package. Ask for documents identifying the associated consumable parts and which requested items are included, keeping complete assemblies separate from individual replacement components.
Provide existing torch identification and connector photographs if your project intends to retain any equipment. Ask for the proposed mating connection documents, and request clarification from the supplier before your project specialist reviews a package combining existing and newly proposed assemblies.
Clarify the table and utility boundaries
Describe any cutting table or control equipment to be retained and attach its identification documents. Request the interface drawing relevant to the proposed package and a statement distinguishing supplier equipment connections from items remaining with the project installation.
Provide the site utility statement for review by your responsible specialist. Ask for the input declaration, outline drawing and related installation documents associated with the quoted configuration, and request clarification of any document that names different equipment from the quotation.
Request the cutting sample records
Define the sample using the cutting drawing and purchaser acceptance description. Ask the supplier to identify the equipment, torch and consumables proposed for that sample, and request a record linking the observations to the same workpiece requirement.
Review the equipment and accessory inclusion schedule before approving the quotation. Ask for written warranty terms, confirm minimum order quantity and lead time before ordering, and request packaging and delivery terms covering the proposed equipment and separately identified accessories.
